Lisa’s Pizza and Restaraunt
Kaitlyn and I were hanging out down at her place in Sayreville and decided to get lunch at a nearby pizza parlor she likes. Lisa’s is located right near the bay in Laurence Harbor.
They had a decent selection of slices. I decided on the chicken parm slice that caught my eye, she chose a pepperoni slice. A pet peeve of mine is when pizza places hit you over the head for the price of drinks. A bottle of Dr. Pepper was 2 dollars and change. That was about the same price as the slice and only a few cents short of a 2-liter bottle at the grocery market. I understand you have to make money but c’mon. Also the service was rude. The old man behind the counter acted as if we were sewer rats.
The slices were pretty good though. The chicken parmesan slice could have had more than two strips of chicken. The sauce had a lot flavor and the parmesan cheese was damn good. The crust was thin and crisp but had a burnt taste to it.
